New Founder
Hello everyone, I'd like to take a chance to just stop and introduce myself. I was handed down ownership of the group after the old founder stepped down. If anyone needs to contact me I'd appreciate it if you would note the group and not my account directly. It's much easier for me to deal with problems if they're kept together instead of strewn around my in-box. As your new founder I have a few changes that I will be making. You are free to discuss and share your input on them in the comments section below this journal. Each comment will be taken into consideration before a change will be made.
The Changes
Maker Adoptables
There has been a lot of controversy regarding whether or not maker adopts should be sold. I have decided to allow maker adopts to be submitted to this group in their respective folders as long as the creator of the game allows them to be sold for points. It's becoming far too much of a hassle to clean up folders when they're constantly being re-submitted. It's easier just to allow them.
Submission Limit
At present the group does not have a submission limit. However, with the group being so large and the constant submission of adoptables I have decided that a submission limit might be a good way to cut down on the upload spam. Especially for those whom watch this group and end up with 500+ messages from this group in their in-box. Comment below and let me know your thoughts.
Staff
Now that I have control of the group I can give each staff member the ability to ban, remove and add deviations to the group. Before I noticed that staff could only remove deviations from the group and were not able to issue bans on their own. That will be changing. I am quite busy and I need at least 15-20 people to act as my co-founders when I am not around. The reason I ask for so many is that this group is large and it requires multiple people to manage it. There will be a select few others I will pick in order to aid with folder cleaning whom won't have the ban ability just because the folders tend to get messy and adopts that have been sold need to be removed from the group.
Featured Folder
I'll be disabling the featured folder for good. It doesn't serve a purpose in this group and deviations submitted to it must be removed by hand. It takes forever to clean out.
Advertising
Once the group is cleaned up there will be no advertising on the front page of the group anymore. It is too difficult for me to get to people who have questions when there's a bunch of spam flooded through the groups home page.

Closing Folders for Clearing Out (July 2nd)
Hi everyone, @Rusetpelt-07 here!
Due to so many wonderful submissions from all of you, we're going to clear out the folders and remove everything from the gallery.
This is to remove all closed, deleted, stored and old adopts from the group and so that we can go back to one folder for each category.
I appreciate all of your adoptables, and hopefully we'll have submissions open again quickly.
Folders will remain open for now, but at some point in the next couple of days they will be closed for cleaning. They may remain closed anywhere from a few hours to a few days.
We'll post a journal once they are re-opened.

FAQ
EDIT: Added "What does _____ mean?", "Why was my deviation declined?", and "Should I remove my deviation if it's been purchased?"
Hello all! We have just recently decided that we should try and put up a FAQ, or Frequently Asked Questions. What we need from you guys, is questions you think should go up on it (please make sure before you put down the question it hasn't already been listed). And if you want, you can help contribute in an answer (keep in mind not all answers will be added, but are appreciated).
Some obvious questions and answers I and others have already come up with:

Friendly Reminder!
Just a friendly reminder to those who haven't checked, or are new to the group--we do NOT allow journals, YCHs, species guides, customs or custom/commission information, or maker adopts.
If any of the above are submitted, they will be declined, and the appropriate action taken. If submitted once, you will receive a warning. If submitted twice, you will receive a 3-day ban. If submitted a third time, you will receive a permanent ban.
Please understand that as a group, we have the right to our own rules and if member do not respect them, they have full right to leave--there are plenty of groups out there that accept what we do not. (:

I think a 5/month submission limit would be fine. ^^
